Livestock Feeds Plc is a subsidiary of UACN, engaged in production of Animal Feeds and other related products.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
- Job Title: Procurement Manager
- Location: Lagos
About the Job
- Responsible for strategic sourcing, pricing, and buying major and micro materials including head office logistics.
- The job holder also assists the Supply Chain Manager in the day-to-day supervision and running of the Department.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that there is no stock of materials around the mills
- Ensures OTIF delivery of materials at competitive prices.
- Daily/ weekly market intelligence
- Checking the warehouses to ensure proper stacking of materials.
- Ensure prompt offloading by working closely with Warehouse Managers
- General staff supervision to ensure the job is done according to the processes provided.
- Process payment and follow up on accounts to ensure prom payment to suppliers
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Experience in the agro-allied industry preferably in the animal feed sector.
- Must have worked in a manufacturing environment dealing with raw materials for at least 5 years.
- Working experience in an SAP environment is required
- Experience in logistics operations
